For my Final project I will be using glass-plate photographs/ slides and my personal photos to create composite images depicting a contrast between modern twenty-first century living, and life in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Some experimentation will occur to see the best method of layering the images (whether it be done in the darkroom or digitally). A careful study of the plates and my own images will be done in order to find ones that will balance out nicely. This will result in a total of 10 images and a written process/ description of each.
The beginning stages of this project will require some experimenting, therefore the details of the project are subject to change. In the case of guideline changes, a new proposal will be turned in.
